
| Type: | Sixteen team Championship and Consolation Tournament. Four games guaranteed (weather permitting). |
| Dates: | April 15, 17, 18 and 19, 2000 |
| Admission & Passes: | $3.00 for ages 6 and over, $1.00 for ages 5 and under. C.I.F., Sierra League, Valle Vista League and School passes will only be accepted. |
| Home Team: | Home team decided by the flip of a coin prior to each game. No representative need be there for the flip, coaches can do so. |
| Pre-game Practice: | Each team will be allowed ten (10) minutes prior to start of game. Home team will take infield first, followed by visiting team. Prior to second game of the day, take infield only if time permits. |
| Player Limit: | No player limit. |
| Awards: | Team trophies presented to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places and consolation champ. Individual medals will be awarded to the Tournament Champions and members of the All-Tournament Team. |
| Subs: | Player substitutions will be allowed as outlined in the C.I.F. Rule Book, except for a courtesy runner for catchers. |
| Rainouts: | Game will continue as soon as possible if rain or wet fields do not interfere with tournament schedule. |
| Game Balls: | Tournament will supply game balls. |
| Reporting: | Winning team is responsible for calling in results to the SGV Tribune, the Los Angeles Times and Marc Price. |
| Tie Breakers: | First tiebreaker will be numbers of runners to reach 3rd base. Second will be number of runners to reach 2nd base. Lastly, total bases (including hits, walks and errors), if necessary. |
| Site Reps: | A representative from the Tournament Staff of SGV Spring Classic will be on hand at all sites to assist in whatever capacity he or she can. If there is no representative present then the host field should be able to assist. |
